Raelian Movement and International Coalition Submit Historic Proposal to President Trump’s Board of Peace for Extraterrestrial Embassy in Gaza
Washington, D.C. / Geneva — An international coalition of scientists and civil society organizations has formally submitted a groundbreaking proposal to the Board of Peace—chaired by President Donald J. Trump—advocating for the creation of an Embassy of Peace for Extraterrestrial Relations in Gaza. The proposal forms part of a long-term vision for regional reconstruction and sustainable peace.
The initiative is endorsed by over 250 scientists and 36 organizations, including the International Raelian Movement, which represents nearly 2.2 million members worldwide. Supporters believe that Gaza—long marked by conflict and humanitarian crises—can become a global symbol of peace, diplomacy, and planetary renewal.
“Decades of conflict have proven that security cannot exist without dignity, stability, and hope,” said Léon Mellul, Raelian Chief Rabbi and spokesperson. “Temporary ceasefires and fragmented aid efforts have failed. What we need now is a civilizational project—a comprehensive initiative grounded in peace, governance, and economic revival.”
Building upon President Trump’s recent remarks envisioning Gaza as the “Riviera of the Middle East,” the coalition argues that hosting an internationally recognized diplomatic institution would attract billions in tourism, generate significant employment, and position Gaza as a spiritual and cultural capital with unprecedented global visibility.
At the heart of the proposal is the establishment of a neutral, internationally governed site dedicated to preparing for and managing potential future contact with non-terrestrial intelligence. Proponents emphasize that this is a preventive and stabilizing initiative, focused on transparency, coordination, and peaceful engagement—as an alternative to panic or militarized responses.
The proposal further calls for the adoption of an Optional Protocol to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961)—to establish a legal framework for Embassies for Extraterrestrial Civilizations. This protocol would adapt existing diplomatic principles to unprecedented interstellar contexts, while safeguarding international law, security, and public trust.
Led by the Raelian Movement, the coalition is also calling for an International Summit in Gaza to deliberate on, adopt, and eventually ratify this Optional Protocol—marking a historic first in humanity’s diplomatic readiness.
“Supporters believe that the Board of Peace is uniquely positioned to champion this visionary initiative,” concluded Mellul. “This is an opportunity to show the world that humanity is ready—to face both present conflicts and future unknowns with wisdom, restraint, and unity.”

Vatican Denies Women the Diaconate: The Raelian Movement Condemns Ruling, Stands with unfairly Excluded Women
Rome, December 15, 2025 — Last December 4th, the Catholic Church once again confirmed how disconnected its doctrine is from the real world. With the Petrocchi Commission's ruling, the Vatican definitively declared that women cannot access the ordained diaconate. This decision demonstrates a stubborn determination to uphold a male-dominated power structure.
"The irony is that this decision is presented as a choice of fidelity to tradition, when history confirms the exact opposite," says Marco Franceschini, national director of the Raelian Movement. "In fact, the first Christian communities employed deaconesses, women who performed real, not symbolic, ministerial functions. And historical research continues to uncover far more significant female roles than the Vatican admits.”
All this is happening at a time when institutions at all levels are recognizing the need to overcome patriarchal models, which often lead to violence. Evidently, the Catholic hierarchy prefers to remain entrenched in its archaic positions and perpetuate the oppression of one gender over the other.
"Within the Raelian Movement, it is not only perfectly normal but desirable to see women accessing the highest roles and holding positions equivalent to those of priests and bishops," Franceschini emphasizes. "Far from being inferior individuals subject to male authority, women bring those values generally inherent to the feminine experience, such as refinement, kindness, empathy, compassion, and listening, which constitute the most powerful deterrent to violence. In a world where human aggression toward one another and the environment has seriously threatened the very survival of humanity itself, sharing these values and elevating women to the top of society becomes a matter of absolute priority. In this sense, the contrast between our position and the blind Catholic view is so stark as to be laughable.”
In today's world, no form of discrimination can be accepted, much less normalized in the name of a false tradition. "We encourage Catholic and Christian women who wish to reclaim their dignity to abandon this outdated institution that relegates them to an inferior status," urges Franceschini. "If they wish to reclaim their place in the world and contribute to making this planet a place of peace and happiness, embracing a spiritual and scientific philosophy in perfect harmony with the current era, they are welcome within the Raelian Movement.”

3I/ATLAS: Comet or Contact? Raelian Scientist says humanity is unprepared either way
New York, November 24, 2025 — As the mysterious interstellar object 3I/ATLAS hurtles toward Earth, speculation is mounting: is it merely a comet or something more? Dr. Marcus Wenner, neuroscientist and Raelian Bishop, offers a provocative assessment: “Whether 3I/ATLAS is a natural object or an intelligent probe, it forces us to confront a deeper question: ‘Are we truly prepared for contact with an extraterrestrial civilization?’ Because right now, quite frankly, we’ve been caught with our pants down.”
Wenner emphasized that any civilization capable of interstellar travel would, by necessity, have transcended violence. “If they were aggressive, they would have self-destructed long ago, just as we risk doing now with our own nuclear capabilities. The very fact that they might have made it here suggests they value peace, wisdom, and cooperation over conquest.”
Yet peaceful intent does not eliminate the issue of unpreparedness. “Even if 3I/ATLAS poses no threat, it highlights the troubling reality that we have no global framework, no diplomatic mechanisms, and no unified scientific infrastructure ready to receive a civilization that will almost certainly think and behave in radically unfamiliar ways,” Wenner continued.
According to Daniel Turcotte, Director General of the Embassy for Extraterrestrials Project, the stakes are unprecedented. “The arrival of an extraterrestrial civilization would represent the most profound event in human history. We must prepare a diplomatic framework rooted in peace and universal respect to receive such visitors,” he stated. He also reiterated that the Embassy Project is not science fiction, but a pragmatic and peaceful initiative, and the only responsible path forward.
Wenner also raised concerns about human fear and bias, citing our failure to manage even intra-human differences. “If we still fight over skin color and religious dogma, how can we possibly welcome beings who might not even wear clothes, believe in gods, or form nuclear families?” In such a context, the risk of global panic or even military escalation looms large. “If an unidentified object enters our airspace, do we greet it with diplomacy or with missiles?”
As for the Embassy Project, momentum is building with active discussions already underway with several governments about co-hosting an international conference on extraterrestrial diplomacy. “This would serve as the platform to introduce an optional protocol to the Vienna Convention,” said Turcotte, “a vital step in legitimizing peaceful interplanetary contact under international law.”
“When one courageous nation steps forward,” Turcotte concluded, “it will mark a historic diplomatic milestone--one that opens the door not only to contact, but to a new era of planetary unity and cosmic dialogue.”

International SexEd Day: The Raelian Movement celebrates 11 Years of advocacy for Sexuality Education as a fundamental Human Right
Geneva, November 20, 2025 — Marking the 11th edition of International SexEd Day, the Raelian Movement renews its global call for a bold and truly transformative vision of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). Far more than a program aimed at disease prevention or moral restriction, the Raelian philosophy considers CSE an essential human right — a right rooted in pleasure, knowledge, and personal fulfillment.
“In a world confronted with sexual violence, massive digital misinformation, growing social inequalities, and persistent traditions rooted in guilt and shame, it has never been more urgent to offer young people an education that affirms life, celebrates diversity, and fosters autonomy,” said Clémence Linard, M.A.Ed, spokesperson for International SexEd Day.
Recent international research reinforces this need. A large meta-analysis of 34 global studies conducted between 2011 and 2023—covering more than 30,000 young people—demonstrated that CSE is highly effective in improving cognition, decision-making, and emotional well-being. According to the authors, long-term, consistent sexuality education not only increases knowledge but also delays risky behaviors and reduces unintended pregnancies: “If children and adolescents receive coherent and sustained CSE, their present and future health and well-being are positively transformed.”
Similarly, a 2024 editorial in Frontiers in Reproductive Health emphasized that sexuality education must move beyond fear‑ or shame‑based approaches: “Evidence‑based, pleasure‑inclusive sexuality education is not a luxury — it is a human right.”
These findings resonate profoundly with the Raelian vision, in which sexuality education must be spiritually uplifting and firmly grounded in scientific truth. Linard highlights this essential dimension: “Young people have the right to be educated about pleasure, not only about risk prevention. CSE is about building the foundations needed to know oneself, to love oneself, and to respect others.”
“What is revolutionary in the Raelian approach is that it restores pleasure to its central role — a body‑mind harmony aligned with science, not shame,” she added.
Yet, despite growing evidence, resistance remains strong. The original UNESCO report on sexuality education, published in 2009 — remarkable for its defense of human rights in sexuality and its inclusion of the concept of pleasure — was quietly modified under pressure from religious lobbies, especially Catholic groups. These same lobbies continue to act today, particularly in France, where they conduct aggressive disinformation campaigns aimed at undermining young people’s rights and distorting the very meaning of CSE.
“For years, the Raelian Movement has urged UNESCO to republish the full, uncensored version of this report, out of respect for transparency, scientific integrity, and youth empowerment,” Linard noted. “No regressive religious or political pressure should ever influence science or research — and this is especially true for sexuality and education. An international institution like UNESCO must remain secular and impervious to all forms of religious influence.”
“In the digital age, where young people increasingly learn about sexuality online, these studies highlight the importance of meeting them where they are — not with fear or censorship, but with true digital literacy: critical thinking, media understanding, self-awareness, and joy. These findings reinforce the Raelian conviction that young people are not passive recipients but active seekers of truth, pleasure, and connection,” the spokesperson continued.
As Raël, the spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement, reminds us: “Children are sexual beings from birth — even before! Sexuality education simply prevents them from developing guilt about their own sexuality.”
“On this 11th International SexEd Day, we reaffirm the fundamental right of every child, adolescent, and adult to receive sexuality education that is honest, inclusive, liberating, and pleasure‑affirming. The Raelian Movement maintains that true peace begins with fulfilled individuals — and fulfillment begins with an education rooted in love, science, and pleasure,” concluded Clémence Linard.

A Nation Signs a Historic Memorandum of Collaboration with the Raelian Movement to Prepare an Embassy for Extraterrestrials!
New York, USA — The Raelian Movement proudly announces a historic breakthrough in humanity’s journey toward its long-awaited reunion with the Elohim, the advanced extraterrestrial civilization introduced in the Raelian Messages. For the first time in recorded history, a national government—whose identity remains confidential for the time being—has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration with the Raelian Movement to explore the creation of an Embassy for Extraterrestrials.
This bold and unprecedented act represents the first official step by any sovereign nation toward welcoming the Creators of humanity back to Earth with peace, respect, and dignity.
“This is a historic day for humanity,” declared Daniel Turcotte, spokesperson for the Raelian Movement and Director General of the Embassy for Extraterrestrials Project.
“A nation has finally shown the courage and vision to prepare for the return of the Elohim—advanced extraterrestrial scientists who created all life on Earth. This collaboration shines as a beacon of hope, peace, and scientific enlightenment.”
The newly signed Memorandum outlines a collaborative framework, including the objectives of the partnership, defined roles and responsibilities, principles of cooperation, and a timeline for exploratory work. Both parties—the government and the International Raelian Movement—have expressed a shared commitment to formalizing discussions, assessing feasibility, and laying the groundwork for this unprecedented initiative.
Raël, spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement for over 50 years, reaffirmed the project’s peaceful intent: “They are not invaders. It is up to us to invite them—and our invitation is the Embassy. Without the neutrality of an Embassy, an unannounced and undesired landing would have enormous political, economic, and social repercussions!”
With this visionary move, this nation becomes the first on Earth to officially explore hosting the Embassy—conceived as a neutral, peaceful, scientific, and diplomatic bridge between humanity and the Elohim.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter for our planet—one fully aligned with the Raelian Movement’s mission to build a world inspired by love, science, respect, and unity.

Rael Rainbow Team praises Marc Miller’s courage and calls for an end to hate speech
Victoriaville, October 31, 2025
The Rael Rainbow Team (link: https://linktr.ee/raelrainbowteam), a movement promoting universal love, freedom, and respect for human diversity applauds the courage of Marc Miller, Canada’s Minister of Immigration, who publicly denounced passages in the Bible that incite hatred toward LGBTQ+ people.
“Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Romans… so many chapters are hateful toward LGBTQ+ people.”
– Marc Miller
According to Denise Desrochers, head of the Rael Rainbow Team in Canada, “the minister’s message resonates deeply with the values of Raelian philosophy, which affirms that every human being is a unique and precious creation, free to love according to his or her nature. No ancient text should justify fear, shame, or exclusion.”
Passages from Leviticus, for example, have long been used to justify discrimination, and even violence, against homosexual people.
Among the texts covered: Old Testament
• Leviticus 18:22 — “You shall not lie with a male as with a female. It is an abomination.”
• Leviticus 20:13 — “If a man lies with a male as with a female, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death.”
“For too long, rigid religious interpretations have hurt millions of people by denying the beauty of their identity, adds Ms. Desrochers. By reminding us of the need for an enlightened and compassionate reading, Marc Miller invites society to take a step toward spiritual and moral maturity.”
Prophet Rael, founder of the Rael Rainbow Team, teaches that “love is the highest form of intelligence“. By recognizing sexual and gender diversity as a treasure of creation, we are building a world where tolerance and joy replace judgment.
“I am in favor of creating a committee to censor religious writings around the world […] It is unacceptable that there are religious movements on Earth whose writings encourage discrimination, violence, and unconsciousness.
The religion of human beings should be Human Rights, and no religion should be allowed to escape this.“
— Maitreya Rael, Étincelle d’éveil – Montreal, 1994
The Rael Rainbow Team calls on all religious and political leaders to reinterpret ancient texts in the light of science, knowledge, and respect for life.
Love is the only true religion.

A “Nobel Prize for War”? The Raelian Movement Denounces a Political Masquerade
Geneva, October 28, 2025 — The Raelian Movement expresses its deep dismay at the awarding of the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado, leader of the Venezuelan opposition. According to the Movement, this decision once again reveals the political drift and moral incoherence of a distinction meant to celebrate peace but increasingly serves the interests of dominant global powers.
“The Nobel Peace Prize has too often become a political tool disguised as a moral endorsement. Granting it to someone who has publicly supported acts of violence and foreign interference is an insult to the very notion of true peace,” declared Princess Loona, spokesperson for the Raelian Movement. She reminded the public that Alfred Nobel’s will explicitly stated the prize should be awarded to those who “have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”
Recent history, however, is rife with controversial choices—such as Henry Kissinger (1973) and Barack Obama (2009)—both of whom have been more associated with military and geopolitical dominance than authentic peace. “These recurring selections reflect a structural hypocrisy. How can we speak of peace while honoring individuals who endorse or justify war?” Princess Loona continued.
Numerous observers have pointed out that this year’s laureate supported the violent ‘guarimbas’ protests, which resulted in many casualties, and has publicly called for U.S. military intervention in her own country. “Behind the democratic façade lies a logic of interference, confrontation, and destruction. This is not peace, it’s politics,” emphasized the spokesperson.
The Raelian Movement also questioned the symbolic timing of this year’s decision: “While a genocide unfolds before our very eyes in Palestine, the Nobel Committee chooses to honor someone associated with supporters of warlike leaders such as Netanyahu. What a tragic irony!” lamented Princess Loona. In light of these contradictions, the Raelian Movement calls for a return to the original spirit of the Nobel Prize—that of universal fraternity and absolute nonviolence.
For over fifty years, Rael, founder and spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement, along with Raelians worldwide, have worked to promote peace, science, and love—notably through Planetary Meditations for Peace and advocating for global disarmament. “True peace is not achieved through weapons or sanctions but through education in compassion and nonviolence. That has been our message since 1973, and it is more urgent now than ever,” concluded Princess Loona.

Finland Erasing a Thousand-Year-Old Cultural Heritage: Raelian Movement Appeals Against the Removal of the Swastika, Symbol of Peace
Fully (Switzerland), September 6, 2025 — The International Raelian Movement, in collaboration with the ProSwastika Alliance, strongly condemns the Finnish Air Force’s recent decision to remove the swastika from its flags and emblems. This action, taken under the false pretense that the swastika is inherently Nazi, reflects a troubling ignorance of world history and culture and threatens to erase a symbol of peace and prosperity with millennia-old roots.
“This regrettable decision risks erasing a thousand-year-old cultural heritage in the name of a biased and outdated interpretation of a universal symbol of peace,” said Pierre-André Dorsaz, coordinator of the Campaign for the Rehabilitation of the Swastika in Europe (rael.org/proswastika).
Far from being a Nazi invention, the swastika is one of humanity’s oldest and most widely used symbols. “Dating back over 7,000 years, it appears in the traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Tibetan traditions,” he continued. “In Tibet, for example, the swastika—called the yungdrung—is a sacred symbol of Yungdrung Bön Buddhism, embodying eternity and stability. Swastikas can be found on prehistoric artifacts throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas, long before they were appropriated and distorted by the Nazi regime for sinister ideological purposes.”
In Finland, the swastika was adopted by the Air Force as early as 1918, when Swedish Count Eric von Rosen gifted it as a symbol of good fortune—decades before the rise of Nazi Germany. It became a national emblem of courage and resistance, especially during Finland’s fight for independence and against Soviet aggression during World War II. “To abandon this symbol today due to public overreaction and misunderstanding is to surrender to ignorance and to let the extremists of the past dictate our view of the present,” emphasized Pierre André-Dorsaz.
The Raelian Movement urges Finnish authorities to reconsider this decision and instead promote nuanced historical education and cultural literacy. “Rather than banning an ancient symbol, it is imperative to contextualize it to combat the real threats of neo-Nazism and extremism. We invite the media, historians, and citizens of the world to join us in defending cultural diversity against collective amnesia,” continued Pierre-André Dorsaz.
The swastika is an integral part of the Infinity Symbol, the official emblem of the Raelian Movement. This symbol—composed of a Star of David and a swastika—represents the infinite nature of time and the perpetual transformation of matter. It is also the symbol of the Elohim, the advanced extraterrestrial civilization that scientifically created all life on Earth scientifically and is referenced in many world religions.
“We are not an eccentric group obsessed with UFOs,” said Dorsaz. “We are the most revolutionary movement on Earth, guided by a profound message of peace, freedom, and scientific understanding.”
On the Eve of a Historic Encounter, the Raelian Movement Releases Episode of Docuseries Revealing the Prophet’s Political Mission
Just weeks before the upcoming International Convention in Okinawa (October 7–9), celebrating the 50th anniversary of the second encounter between Rael and the Elohim with Rael and hundreds of people from all over the world (see rael.org), the International Raelian Movement (IRM) is proud to announce the release of the eighth episode of the docuseries Rael: 50 Years of Spiritual Revolution. This episode reveals the deeply political essence of the mission of the last prophet.
“Rael is the most revolutionary figure of our time,” said Thomas Kaenzig, Raelian bishop and spokesperson. “For five decades, he has tirelessly spread the message of the Elohim—our extraterrestrial creators—while inspiring countless initiatives, often provocative, in support of individual freedoms and human rights.”
In a past address to Raelians, Rael explained, “We are profoundly revolutionary individuals in every field because we are here to save humanity. The message from the Elohim to humanity is not about UFOs or extraterrestrials—it’s about saving humanity and securing its future. That is our primary mission.”
Among the impactful campaigns initiated under Rael’s guidance, Kaenzig highlighted Nopedo, a bold and global awareness campaign launched in 2001 that unflinchingly denounced the scourge of pedophilia within the Catholic Church. “We were the first to expose this issue, facing backlash and opposition. Yet current events have proven him right and that is the role of a Prophet: To shine a light on the taboos and injustices others refuse to confront,” Kaenzig stated.
The episode also features GoTopless, an international campaign initiated over 16 years ago. Nadine Gary, President of GoTopless, described it as: “An educational effort to challenge and overcome deeply rooted gender-based discrimination. It invites humanity to rethink outdated social norms.”
Kaenzig concluded, “The Raelian Movement is far more than a group of marginal people who believe in UFOs. It is the most revolutionary organization on Earth, inspired and guided by the advanced scientific and philosophical revelations delivered in Rael’s books.” (Free download: rael.org/downloads)

Spiritual Leader Rael to Join Global Commemoration on Anniversary of Hiroshima Bombing: August 6 Marks the Raelian New Year and 80 Years Since the Atomic Tragedy
TOKYO, August 5, 2025 — Rael, founder and spiritual leader of the International Raelian Movement, will once again take part in the annual Raelian New Year celebration on August 6—this year marking the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima genocide.
In a previous statement, Rael strongly condemned the bombing, calling it one of the greatest crimes ever committed against humanity: “Harry Truman is the worst criminal of all time against humanity because he gave the order to bomb two Japanese cities that were clearly civilian objectives. He did so in violation of the rules of war, and his orders caused the instant killing of 300,000 innocent civilians, including elderly people and children. Even Adolf Hitler didn’t kill that many civilians with two bombs!”
He further added: “Pretending that he saved lives by shortening the war when he ordered the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki makes the crime even more horrific. It’s like saying that it’s okay to sacrifice the lives of innocent civilians to save the lives of military personnel.”
Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, spokesperson for the Raelian Movement, drew a stark parallel with modern-day atrocities: “Unfortunately, the same logic is still at play in the Middle East, where thousands of civilians—including children—have been killed in Gaza. If President Truman or any of the subsequent U.S. Presidents had apologized for those monstrous acts, it is unlikely the current genocide in Palestine would be accepted or ignored by the public in Western countries as it is today.”
Rael has long advocated for global peace and disarmament through non-violent means, including international meditations and activism, and by encouraging peace activists to influence their governments. “Raelian gatherings are planned for August 6 in most major cities around the world,” added Boisselier. “On this day, we also welcome new members into the Raelian Movement and promote the ‘One Minute for Peace’ campaign launched by Rael—to help humanity reach global peace, one peaceful minute at a time.”
